National Bilby Day 2017 - 10 September

Stay tuned for what's happening in 2017

In the meantime, we need your help

Our work to save the bilbies relies on YOUR donations. Without this help from the Australian public, we risk losing bilbies from the wild forever.

Much of the conservation work is remote, specialised and expensive. We really need people to support us to raise operational funding as we receive no recurrent funding.

The bilby's future really is in your hands.

Events held last year in 2016 for National Bilby Day

A heritage train (with steam locomotive BB18¼ 1079 hauling historic wooden carriages) departed 7 September, 2016 from Brisbane’s Roma Street Station to Charleville.

1930s-inspired fancy dress party with refreshments, live music and dancing till 1am at Charleville Racecourse Complex on 10 September

Family Fun Day 11 September 2016, Charleville Town Hall and Town Hall Park. Stalls, and children's entertainment!

ZOO RUNs were held for National Bilby Day on 11 September at various zoos and wildlife parks! A portion of every ticket sale were donated to the Fund.

The Fund is very grateful for the generous and ongoing support for National Bilby Day shown by the Zoo Run organisers - Kathy, Wayne and Tegan.
